(Senior) Technical Consultant SAP BW and SAP BW/4 HANA (F/M/D)

Responsibilities

As a Technical Consultant (m/f/d) SAP BW and SAP BW/4 HANA, you will analyze the technical feasibility of specialist concepts, record customer requirements, create data processing concepts and implement these in stable, scalable and high-performance SAP Data Warehouse solutions. Depending on the focus of your work, you will carry out the following tasks directly at the customer’s premises:

  • Active participation in SAP BW/BI projects as an expert, project, or sub-project manager
  • Advising our clients in the financial services sector on sustainable BW-wide target architectures
  • Modelling and implementation of the architecture in SAP BW and BI/BO applications
  • Development in ABAP OO and HANA native
  • Creation of test concepts, testing and quality assurance
  • Accompanying our customers in the development of data strategies and in data science
  • Support in the further development of the Axxiome Analytics Team
  • Assistance in the preparation of offers and customer presentations

Requirements

High communication skills, the ability to work in a team, independent action and an analytical mindset enable you to achieve goals quickly and generate sustainable customer benefits. This is what sets you apart:

  • Studies in a MINT subject, business studies or relevant knowledge acquired in practice
  • Sound knowledge of SAP BW 7.x, ideally already in SAP BW 7.5 on HANA or SAP BW/4 HANA
  • Many years of field-proven development experience in ABAP OO
  • First experiences with HANA
  • Knowledge of at least one of the BO frontend applications
  • Ideally, you already have industry knowledge in banking, asset management or the insurance industry
  • Readiness for personal and content-related development as well as interest in new innovative topics
  • Very good language skills in German and English
  • High willingness to travel
