Senior Java Developer for Overseas Support (M/F/D)

Responsibilities

Focus of your work will be to monitor, maintain and work on support tasks in the area of our unique omnichannel platform, Axxiome Digital. As part of the Support Organization, you will support our Java development, checking production environment, analyse logfiles, do bug fixing and support the development team in development tasks on our products. To fulfil your tasks, you will have direct interactions with architects, other developers and also our customers (banks) to confirm expectations. It is a challenging position, but one where you can learn and develop yourself.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development
Experienced in Java EE, Java API for RESTful Web Services, DB (schemas, queries, and entity relation)
Experience with Software support process and in log analysing
Awareness of a full software development lifecycle from design to support
Additional skills in JavaScript, Jenkins, Maven, GIT
Experience in software development, integration, and software logistics
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Banking-related development
Good understanding of Banking processes E2E
Ability to present a solution to a customer, team, or management
Experience in Scrum, Kanban or Agile
Fluent in English

Additional as a plus:

JSD, JIRA, Confluence
Kafka and Nifi
API Manager (e.g. WSO2)
Container/Docker
Distributed systems/log aggregation
Database migration tools (e.g., flyway)
BPMN Engine (e.g., Camunda)
Software Architecture and/or Solution Architecture.
SAP Banking.
Experience working on multi-cultural, diverse, and distributed team across different time zones.
