Senior DevOps

Location: Europe

Business Area: Product

Responsibilities

  • definition of project scope, deliverables, desired outcome and definition of project tasks, project team communication
  • monitoring project plan, quality, resources, and timelines
  • administration of Linux and/or Windows systems and databases
  • understanding of how Axxiome assets and resources map onto market demands
  • projecting and implementing solutions, preparing scripts bash/shell
  • co-working with another DevOps
  • the ability to work problem-solving, independently, and reliably in a team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • proficiency in multiple coding and scripting languages
  • experience with infrastructure automation and source control tools
  • experience with AWS and continuous integration tools
  • experience in working with CI/CD and GitOps tools (GitLab, ArgoCD, etc)
  • experience with Hyperscale’s such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or Google Cloud
  • good knowledge of Linux, Containers like Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Kafka, and NiFi
  • Kubernetes or OpenShift experience with Containers, Terraform, Helm, Packer, and Ansible
  • database knowledge of Oracle and Postgres in combination with Flyway
  • Web Application Servers JBoss, Nginx, and IBM WebSphere beneficial
  • hands-on experience with agile development methodologies (Jira/Confluence) and DevOps
  • development experience with Python, Java
  • good German and English skills
  • enjoy working in a multicultural team
  • open to learning new topics
  • understanding of test automatization
  • performance analyses and tuning skills
  • system monitoring and logging
  • DevSec Ops knowledge

HOW WILL YOUR FIRST MONTHS LOOK LIKE?

  • within your first month, you will have a good understanding of our Axxiome Digital product with help of your Buddy
  • within your third month, you will be able to work almost on your own and make contributions to project
  • finally, within your sixth month, you will be leading your own initiatives, proposing new solutions based on the needs of the team and client, and your own unique perspective
