The Project

Core Replacement for a statutory health insurance in Germany . This project is a switch from legacy systems to a complete SAP Insurance based landscape. In cooperation with the software vendor a legacy replacement for SAP Business Partner, SAP Claims, SAP Collections and Disbursements, SAP Netweaver based Policy Management and SAP CRM were implemented together with portal front ends and data integration. It was a template solution incorporating more than 15 legal entities, which includes a Roll-Out to all the legal entities. It is one of the largest SAP insurance projects worldwide.

Our Mission

Axxiome’s consultants and Axxiome is proud to lead, design and develop the technical part of SAP Business Partner and SAP Netweaver based Policy Management. This includes the design, implementation data migration and data reconciliation. In addition, Axxiome is bringing its deep technical SAP Netweawer and SAP Insurance knowledge – also in SAP FSCD and SAP CRM area . We also designed an architecture and solution for the AddOn development, data and message interchange between legal entities and social pension fund, business rule and check framework, data migration and reconciliation framework. We are also an integral part in shaping the solution architecture for the statutory health insurance solution based on SAP Insurance in Germany . The effort for the software development ran into several thousands of days and was done onside as well nearshore from Axxiome’s Eastern Europe locations.

Main Challenges:

• scope control and leadership to work together with the customer to make the necessary business changes to adjust software as well as business process to be harmonized

• implement a new Policy System with processes work end-to end on SAP Netweaver platform
