The Project

Core Replacement for a Bank in Western Canada. This project is a complete switch from legacy systems to a complete SAP SOA based landscape. In cooperation with a large system integrator and the software vendor, a legacy replacement for deposit management, loans management on the banking services platform, bank analyzer for accounting for financial instruments and profit analyzer as well as finance and controlling are being implemented together with portal front ends and process integration from 2 different middleware vendors. In addition to this, a customer relationship module with an extended account origination is part of the scope.

Our Mission

Axxiome is proud to lead the deposits implementation, contribute the Canada specific localization and tax knowledge. This includes the design and implementation of canadian registered products and implementation and extension of CYT for tax reporting. In addition, Axxiome is bringing its deep functional and technical Banking Services deposits management knowledge to the adjacent areas of account origination and the internal portal. We are also very much involved in shaping the SAP solution architecture, the channel integration and the therefore resulting cross module topic consolidation.

Main Challenges:

• Scope control and leadership to work together with the customer to make the necessary organizational and business changes to adjust software as well as business process to be harmonized
• Integration of self service and associate based channels to a channel agnostic back-end solution
• Make the processes work end-to end on new and converted data - due to the project size and project organization
• Never forget the focus on the main processes in an overall fitting, practical and modern solution architecture, with the necessary depth to catch the details needed, no over-engineering and with as few modifications as is possible considering the future SAP road map
