This year the annual SAP for Banking congress took place in Mainz on the 23rd and 24th of August and Axxiome participated for the 2nd time with our own booth. “Banking in Motion” was the slogan of this year’s event which meant that mobile devices, mobile banking and cloud computing was particularly in focus as well as ever changing legal requirements for banks.

We had several interesting talks about our Advanced Banking Platform with partners as well as interested customers who were keen to explore where such a ready-to-deploy system could be used. 

This year a Live Theater stage was introduced to the congress which enabled partners to have interactive sessions with the audience and Axxiome had a slot were Markus Winter presented how the experience of a successful Loans Management implementation project could be used to perfection a model bank system which in turn can become a base for a cloud computing offering.

The next challenge is now to follow up all those leads into sales opportunities and win new customers and projects so by 2012 we are ready for the next SAP for Banking congress.
